"And We'll all Shine Together" song by Norm Hacking

This group exhibition features artists who have been employed
at Art Starts Neighbourhood Cultural Centre. Ironically, while
these creators are hired for their skills as artists, their personal
work is rarely seen.  The success of their community arts practice
is predicated upon their ability to draw out creativity in those
with whom they work - residents of Toronto from all walks of life,
representing all ages. They are skilled at using the arts as a
vehicle for individual and collective expression, fun &
relationship building and as a conduit for addressing community
issues. Their role in that process is catalytic and enriching.

In doing community arts work successfully they (necessarily)
leave ego at the door. With Shine we have an opportunity to see
what their individual artistic practice gets up to when they let
loose by themselves.
